Cameron Bock

1. Why did you choose to work at CampSite?

I chose to work at CampSite because I’ve always loved the camp world and wanted to help more camps thrive, but this time from the technical side. After years of being in the field, I saw how much the right systems could simplify operations and enhance the camper and staff experience. I was also looking for a new pace that allowed me to stay connected to the camp community while being more present for my family.

2. What are you looking forward to in your role?

I’m excited to see the camp industry from a new perspective. I’m looking forward to connecting with camp professionals across the country and around the world, learning how their operations run, and helping them strengthen their systems so they can focus more on what matters most.

3. What makes CampSite unique to you?

CampSite blends the best of several worlds. It has the spirit and heart of the camp community, the creativity and flexibility of a tech company, and the purpose-driven impact of an educational institution. To top it all off, everyone is working toward the same mission with passion and willingness to collaborate.

4. What experience or skills do you bring that will help you serve our customers (and camps/ the camp industry) well?

I bring over 15 years of hands-on experience in camp administration and operations. I’ve worked on teams that have handled everything from transportation logistics and facilities management to staff hiring, app development, and program design. My hope is that this range of experience helps me truly understand each camp’s challenges and goals, and allows me to support our customers in a way that feels both practical and meaningful.

Jess Johnson

1. Why did you choose to work at CampSite?

My decision to join CampSite was an easy one—it truly connects with my lifelong passion for the outdoors and for serving people. I see this as a fantastic chance to support an industry I care about, bringing my experience in leadership and practical problem-solving to help camps run more smoothly and efficiently for everyone.

2. What are you looking forward to in your role?

My goal is to make using CampSite easier and more effective for our camps. I look forward to focusing on practical, clear solutions so they can feel confident with the software and spend less time troubleshooting and more time providing  campers with an amazing camp experience.

3. What makes CampSite unique to you?

What immediately drew me to CampSite was their dedication to an exceptional product backed by truly stand-out support—it’s an approach that deeply resonates with my own values. Having spent years managing programs in the nonprofit world, I have a profound appreciation for a company that not only provides essential tools but also contributes meaningfully to an industry centered on creating life-changing, impactful experiences for people.

4. What experience or skills do you bring that will help you serve our customers (and camps/ the camp industry) well?

My experience in the non-profit sector has equipped me to lead and manage programs for diverse groups, which has shaped a practical, people-first leadership style. When things get chaotic—as they often do in the camp world—I excel at staying calm, communicating clearly, and efficiently finding solid, smooth-running solutions. This means I can take complex processes and make them simple, letting you and your team get back to the crucial work you do best: serving campers.
